Modular and compact MBBR system for civil wastewater treatment

IDRO Group’s containerized MBBR wastewater treatment plants offer a compact, modular and easily transportable solution for the biological treatment of civil wastewater.
The MBBR system (Moving Bed Biofilm Reactor) combines the advantages of activated sludge and attached biofilm technologies, ensuring high purification efficiency in a reduced footprint.

These MBBR plants are designed to minimize overall space and environmental impact. Their modular structure allows for quick installation with limited civil works and makes them ideal for temporary, mobile or remote applications.
They are particularly suited for the treatment of pre-settled wastewater from septic systems in construction sites, villages, communities, military bases, resorts, or industrial facilities.

MBBR system configuration and scalable plant sizing

Each MBBR plant is customizable according to the characteristics of the wastewater to be treated and may include:

• Pre-treatment and fine screening
• Denitrification (optional)
• Biological oxidation using moving bed biofilm
• Final sedimentation with lamella packs
• Disinfection
• Automated control and remote monitoring systems
