Rainwater treatment plants are generally used to service waterproofed surfaces in industrial yards, intermodal areas, ports and airports, roads, ring roads and highways, and are generally installed to facilitate the disposal of water through infiltration into the ground.
The treatment of the water before the transfer in the aquifers also has the function of avoiding the overload of the sewers in the rainy moments and to avoid malfunctions to the purifiers. The problem of first rain water has been studied by IDRO Group which has developed different types of systems for each type and size of surface.
