Desulfurization plants

One of the main problems of a biogas production plant is represented by the corrosive phenomena that develop inside the digester, even reaching to damage its structural integrity.

The IDRO.deS process is a chemical-biological biogas desulfurization system, external to the digester and based on the technology of a specific hybrid filter that removes hydrogen sulphide from biogas. This removal is obtained through an absorption process that takes place in correspondence of the UgnCleanPellets® filter material, consisting of cellulose fibers and binding agents such as, for example, iron oxide hydrate. By adding air from the filtering module, ensuring its complete desulphurisation capacity. Once exhausted, the material is compostable and does not release toxic gases. The filtering material is easily transportable and can be stored.
